Back in March of 2020 during lockdown "Zachary West & The Good Grief" was started. With the intention to challenge myself to learn home recording. I wrote & recorded three songs from scratch between my couch & bedroom. This eventually became the "Closure (Quarantine Demo)" released in July of 2020. I had no intentions of this project ever leaving my home.

2021 hit and restrictions started to lift. Live music started coming back and I was asked to open a show for the band Aaron West & The Roaring Twenties, an opportunity I couldn't say no to. With no actual line up I asked some of the best musicians and friends I know, Jimmy, Brian, & Rick, to accompany me for the show. From the first practice we all felt something a little different than any bands we've played in before. It was easy, fun, & stress free. We immediately became an actual band. Things moved quickly and we immediately began working on new material together as a group. 

In the Fall of 2022 we visited Audio Pilot Studios with producer Rob Freeman to record our first EP "Head Empty". That experience changed a lot of things and immediately got us writing double time & frequently playing out live.

Fast forward to the winter & fall of 2024, we headed back to Rob to complete our first full length LP "Intrusive Thoughts". 13 songs about navigating life, mental health, and ever changing family dynamics and personal relationships. We couldn't be more proud and hope you take a listen.
